This little town is where Sgt Coleman bought an orphaned black bear cub for $20 and named her Winnie after his home town of Winnipeg. Winnie traveled with the Sgt to England enroute to WW2 and was donated to the london Zoo, later to inspire author A.A. Milne to write the stories of Winnie the Pooh. So of course we had to stop!
