Our first stop in Nova Scotia was Pictou. a quaint town where in the 1700 Scottish Settlers began arriving here. It is also home to purportedly Canada’s Best Shortbread – which we sampled, pretty darn good.

This beach is purportedly named after the great-grandfather of Sadie’s friend from school.. we’ll confirm this when we get home, but it is a beautiful beach, warmest salt water in canada and great sand. The town is nice too, purportedly the lobster Capital of Canada… so we had lobster for dinner!
